Guided Tours
Short, picture-led walkthroughs of nexusID — recorded straight from the live product. Each tour has two layers so it works for everyone:
- In plain English — a few sentences on what it is and why it matters, no jargon. Great for evaluators, managers, and auditors.
- Step-by-step — the actual click-by-click flow with screenshots and a short video, for admins getting hands-on.
nexusID is an identity broker: it sits between your apps and your identity providers, handles sign-in, and gives admins one console to manage who can access what. The tours below show that in action.
Pick a tour
| Tour | In one line |
|---|---|
| Signing in (HRD) | How a user signs in and is routed to the right identity provider. |
| The Admin Console | A guided pass through the whole admin console. |
| Roles | Grant admins exactly the access they need — nothing more. |
| RBAC & Permissions | See role-based access control actually enforcing limits. |
| Joiner · Mover · Leaver | The employee lifecycle: onboard, change, offboard. |
| Privileged Access (PIM) | Just-in-time elevation for sensitive actions. |
| Provisioning (SCIM) | Accounts flowing in automatically from your HR/directory. |
| The User Portal | What your end users see and self-manage. |
| Specialty Consoles | Agent Governance and Ticketing. |
These tours cover the interactive surfaces (admin console, user portal, public/HRD sign-in, and
the Agent-Governance & Ticketing consoles). nexusID also exposes machine surfaces with no UI to
tour — SCIM 2.0 (/scim/v2/), the Entra external-ID extension (/entra/), and SAML IdP
metadata/SSO. Those are covered under Authentication & Federation
and the Developer Guides.
How these were made
Every screenshot and video here is captured automatically from a real, running nexusID instance by
an end-to-end test suite (e2e/tests/journeys) — so the docs always reflect what the product
actually does. Re-running the suite refreshes the imagery.
