Provisioning is creating and updating user accounts automatically instead of by hand. With SCIM (and directory/HR integrations), when someone is added in your source system — Workday, Microsoft Entra, an HR feed — their nexusID account appears and stays in sync. No manual account creation, no forgotten leavers.
