Some actions are sensitive enough that nobody should hold the power all the time. Privileged Identity Management (PIM) lets people request elevated access just for a while, when they need it — and it expires automatically. Less standing privilege means a smaller target for attackers.

The dashboard shows elevation requests and active elevations — who has temporarily stepped up, and until when.
